Andrea starts bass playing at 14, gigging live the following year. He plays in several hard-rock bands and exhibits live in pubs, schools, local and national festivals. In 1994 he meets Alessandro Papotto e Tony Zito and Nodo Gordiano, a free sperimental music project, begins.
In 1998 he starts his activity in early music, with Ensemble Enchiriadis, having an intense live activity and making recording sessions for several national TV networks. It also partecipates in many festivals in Italy and abroad. He publishes the poetry book L’Orfeo Elettrico in 1997; composes and plays live the experimental music and poetry act Officinalia Casanatensia with Marco Boccia (2001); dedicates himself to organological studies, publishing storiographical notes about hispanical medieval music with Accademia dei Lincei in Rome (2003).
