he starts the study of guitar at 12 with Fabrizio Salvati at Donna Olimpia music school in Rome.
After several and brief musical experiences he plays 5 years in the band Arvalia, a young prog band that features a blend of styles.
During these years Arvalia selfproduces and distributes an album, 'Archè' and take part in festivals and radio broadcast. In 2007 the band splits up and in mid 2009 Valerio begins his experience with Nodo Gordiano.
